Tyler Perry Gets COVID-19 Vaccine On Camera

The Black community is skeptical about the new COVID-19 vaccine, so Tyler Perry took the vaccine on camera to encourage others to take the jab.

“I’m not taking this vaccine because I want you to take it, I want to give you the information so you make your own choices,” he said on CBS This morning. “I think that’s what it’s about, education and information.” Perry recognizes and this may “[raise] flags for us as African American people.”

He continued: “I think that it’s just important that people know that, if you take your chances with Covid you never know how it’s going to affect you and it could affect your long-term health.”

While the vaccine may be available, it seems many feel it is just too new and are waiting to take the vaccines. There have been reports that the vaccine allegedly causes extreme allergic reactions and even allegations it has given recipients Bell’s Palsy — but the jury is still out.
