Former President Donald Trump has a short memory and called Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell a “dumb son of a bitch” and a “stone cold loser” at a Republican donor event Saturday night.
McConnell may be the only reason Trump was not found guilty during his most recent impeachment trial, but Trump is still upset at McConnell for not helping him to overturn the election results.
Referring to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, he said: “If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a bitch Mitch McConnell, they would never allow it to happen. They would have fought it.”

Trump also made fun of former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, McConnell’s wife, who resigned from his administration after the January riot at the capitol.
“I hired his wife. Did he ever say thank you?” Trump said, adding: “She suffered so greatly.”
Trump is working hard to make a return in 2024. He is expected to make a second run for president.
