Maralee Nichols, the woman who allegedly just gave birth to Tristan Thompson’s son, issued a lengthy statement defending her character after he allegedly claimed in court that he has herpes.
According to legal documents obtained by Ace Showbiz, Nichols’ “medical reasons” for having designated induced labor earlier this month was due to the sexually transmitted disease.

“Since opening up our private files to the media, I have been contacted by a source confirming that I should be checked because Petitioner [Maralee] has been diagnosed with herpes,” the documents reportedly state. “Therefore, it would make sense that Petitioner had to have a designated delivery date.”
The documents continue: “Petitioner told me that she had been involved with other athletes and understood the limitations of our relationship; to-wit, that we might see each other on a sporadic basis for consensual casual sex only.”
Nichols denied his allegations in a statement:
“Tristan told me he was not having a sexual relationship with anyone else; it was not casual sex nor did we have any arrangement. Tristan and I communicated daily and talked on the phone. We would see each other several times a month,” she said.
