I’m an Editor With a New Puppy—28 Stylish Pet Items I’m Telling Everyone About

I’m a month and a half into having my very first puppy. My camera roll has become all puppy pictures, my Amazon cart is full of puppy products, and my number one conversation topic is the puppy. It happened fast, folks. Her name is Fanny, and my husband and I have quickly become the dog parents we never knew we’d be.

Before this adventure, I never gave much thought to stylish dog gear, but now that I’ve entered this whole new world, I’m blown away by how much of it exists. Between the sweaters, collars, leashes, toys, bowls, beds, and crates to choose from, it can be overwhelming, to say the least, but I’ve done tons of research, starting the moment we found out we were getting her. I wanted to choose items that are both stylish and well reviewed for the little pup, and I think I’ve found quite a few things that fit the bill.

In case you have a dog of your own, are considering adopting, or need gift ideas for the pet parents in your life, below are the stylish items Fanny and I love—along with plenty of pictures of her enjoying it all, naturally.

This was taken right after we introduced Fanny to her big-girl crate. (There’s more on that below.)

Crate training is an essential part of having a puppy. I just got this game changer of a crate, and it’s already become so much easier. As far as crates go, this is the luxury-vehicle version. There are too many epic features to even list here, so I’ll just say that you honestly won’t regret investing in a Diggs Revol Crate.

It fits perfectly in the crate, and it’s even softer than it looks.

I froze some doggie peanut butter in this and attached it to her crate, and Fanny didn’t even notice when we left the house.

Fanny sleeps with this every single night.

Even if you don’t have a dog, you’ve probably heard of Wild One. Everything the super-popular company makes is adorable, useful, and affordable.

Dog toys don’t get more aesthetically pleasing than this.

When Fanny gets too big to be carried around in this, I’ll use it to tote all of her gear. (She doesn’t travel lightly.)

You have to look at your dog’s bowls every day, so they might as well be chic.

I’m training her to wear clothes from a young age.

She’s already outgrown this sweater, but I’ll definitely be buying it in a bigger size next fall. It’s just so soft.

If you want your dog to have a good night’s sleep, get them a bed from a mattress company.

I read that Bernedoodles like the water, so I can’t wait to watch her play in this when the weather warms up.

The look of a puppy who’s not supposed to be on the furniture.

I’m determined to keep protecting the furniture.

I don’t know if this makes bathtime more enjoyable for her, but it does for me, the bath giver.

Aside from looking chic in any space, this bowl is the perfect size and is nice and heavy, so it doesn’t slide around when Fanny inevitably whacks it with her paw.

This luxurious bed comes in several pretty, soothing colors that look perfect in a bedroom.

I’m not sure who loves this bed more—her or me.

I’m seriously considering buying another one to have as a backup.

This brand’s collars are clearly very adorable.

Prada pet gear for the win.

A bandana is a dog wardrobe staple.

This is the cutest panda toy on the market. Trust me—I checked.

This adorable bowl helps her to eat a bit slower.

This makes me chuckle.

Don’t ask me why, but I decided she needed a cactus.

This brand has quickly become one of my favorites for dog toys.

Chic toy storage is a must.

This affordable harness is super easy to put on and take off.

We call this Fanny’s anxiety bed, and I wish I had one of my own.

Cozy.

I like that this brand’s treat jars don’t even look like treat jars.

It didn’t take me long to realize how essential one of these is.
