Celebrities take a break from shooting political videos between election cycles.
Come 2024, though, we’ll likely see more clips telling us how to vote, and why.
Consider the following progressive-themed videos meant to change hearts and minds.
One of the more remarkable, celebrity-themed videos came following the Mueller Report’s release. That document failed to prove President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election.
That didn’t satisfy stars like Robert De Niro, Stephen King, Rosie Perez, Christine Lahti, Laurence Fishburne, Martin Sheen and George Takei. They claimed Team Mueller did, actually, prove the collusion ties.
The media simply missed it, they alleged.
The video went viral, naturally, and stood as a defiant response to the news cycle surrounding the Mueller Report.
Some of the featured stars refused to let go of the matter.
Reiner raged on, and on, via Twitter about the Trump/Russian ties despite a steady trickle of news suggesting it was all a scam.
Two years ago, the director teased a limited series based on the Trump-Russia connection.
Last week, we learned the final, ugly truth about Trump and Russia. There was no collusion. The FBI, working with the media and the Hillary Clinton campaign, made it up.
The FBI should be ashamed, at the very least, of its actions. The Clinton campaign should face severe consequences for its role in the hoax, but nothing of the sort will happen.
Has Clinton even been approached by a journalist to answer questions tied to her role in the Russian Collusion hoax?
The answer is likely, “no.”
Hollywood-themed news outlets like Variety, Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter could use their extensive connections to see what Reiner, De Niro, Perez and more think of their accusations in light of the Durham Report.
Do they still see collusion after so much proof saying the opposite?
Except they won’t.
Those outlets, which often report on straight political news, don’t want to embarrass progressive stars. The site didn’t even cover the Durham Report’s release.
