We Put Parade’s New Bralette to the Test on Editors Sizes A to DD

One perk we enjoy as fashion and beauty editors is the ability to test out new products before everyone else. From an exciting new H&M collab to the best brightening face masks, we try before you buy and offer our honest reviews. So when Parade told me that the brand would like to send us pieces from its first bra launch, I jumped at the chance. No, we’re not getting paid for this, and yes, we really mean what we say in our feedback!

Four of us Who What Wear editors have had our hands on the bralettes for weeks now, which has given us a chance to put them to the test in a variety of settings ranging from WFH to hiking. The bras come in both a triangle and a scoop-neck style and are offered in sizes XS to 3X.

“After two years of research and development and testing the two styles—Scoop and Triangle—on both professional fit models and 500 community members all who have different body types, we know this is the best bralette on the market,” Cami Téllez, founder and CEO of Parade, said in a statement. The bralettes are made with the brand’s signature Re:Play fabric, which is composed of certified recycled nylon and mesh.

“Triangle bras aren’t really my first choice for a bralette. They’re usually not supportive enough and don’t have much coverage for my bigger bust, but my mind was changed after wearing this one. First, I love the material. It’s so silky and smooth—truly comfy for a night in or on the couch working from home. I adjusted the straps to get a better fit for my body, and to my surprise, they really held in place, as I didn’t have to keep readjusting throughout the day. Definitely a bralette I see myself wearing on repeat.”

“This bra is WFH-level comfy, which is truly hard to find. After I snapped a pic in it, I wanted to keep it on—strange given I’ve gone mostly braless for the past year of my life! I normally wear a 32B bra, and the size small fits perfectly. I like that it has the traditional bra hooks for an adjustable fit but has the comfort of a sports bra. I hope they keep making more styles. You’ve got one customer in me!”

“Let me preface this review by saying I have always had big boobs. In fact, at one point in time, my 34DD’s had me convinced that I’d never find a bralette that could cover them, support them, or look even remotely attractive. And for big-chested women, the struggle to find a bra that isn’t a push-up or a torture device can feel never-ending. While I’ve been able to find some bralettes that are tolerable, none have quite held up to Parade’s baby-blue bralette. “First off, the fabric is incredibly soft, and it’s made out of recycled nylon, which is a bonus in my mind. I have to go up one to two sizes with some bralettes to find one that fits—if they even have a larger size. But with Parade’s bralette, the large fit well, but I found that I didn’t have to go up a size, and I didn’t need to try to loosen the straps to make it fit my chest and shoulders. Not only did it fit well, but also the cut was way more flattering than it first appeared to be in the packaging—to the point where if I wanted to wear the bralette as a top, I could maybe make it work. Overall, I was delightfully surprised by this bralette’s quality and fit and would recommend it to all my fellow bustier friends.”

“I have been on a quest for a bralette that’s comfortable enough to wear with my pajamas while working from home, and I can honestly say that Parade’s is it. I am normally a 34A, and the small size fits me perfectly. The best part about wearing it is that I completely forget I have it on—that’s how you know it’s good. I don’t need much support, so I personally can’t attest to that aspect, but I will say that the comfort, super-soft fabric, and its invisibility under T-shirts have sold me. Oh, and how could I forget the price as well? You definitely get bang for your buck.”
