‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic To Be Resentenced In Murder-For-Hire Case

Tiger King star Joe Exotic will be resentenced in his murder-for-hire case.

According to CNN, the US 10th Circuit Court of Appeals vacated his 264-month prison sentence after he allegedly tried to hire somebody to murder animal rights activist Carole Baskin.

Exotic says his convictions should be overturned because the trial court allowed Baskin to attend his entire trial even though she was a listed government witness.

He said his convictions should have been combined as they “involved the same victim and two or more acts or transactions that were connected by a common criminal objective.”

Exotic has been trying to get out of prison for years. He even applied to Donald Trump when he was president for a pardon — but he was not granted one.

“140 million Joe Exotic fans had a hard time getting out of bed this morning,” his statement at the time read.

“We are as disappointed that the president did not sign Joe’s pardon, as we were confident yesterday that he would.”
