These 20 Jumpsuits Deserve a Spot in Your Winter Wardrobe

At this point, it’s safe to say that jumpsuits have officially replaced the need for dresses in my closet. I actually look forward to the winter weather so I can pull all of my favorite ones out of storage. They’re great for when I’m running late or for when I can’t be bothered to put together a real outfit in the morning, so I have a select few that I keep in a constant rotation each season.

That all being said, buying my first jumpsuit wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I’m petite and stand at only 5’2”, so I had to somehow find a one-piece that would fit me at my leg and in my chest area. After trying on dozens of styles, I’ve found the ones that work for me, and they all fit into one of the four categories below.

So if you’re brand-new to the world of jumpsuits or if you’re just in the market for a newer, on-trend option, I’ve found all of the best jumpsuits to shop right now and love for the rest of winter. Keep scrolling to check out all of the cutest picks and to get styling inspiration from some of the fashion set’s finest.

If you want something that you can throw on and zip up in under a minute, consider trying out a boilersuit-style jumpsuit. Sometimes called coveralls, these utilitarian-inspired pieces are made to be lived in. Choose ones that are made from denim or twill for maximum wearability. The oversize shape also makes layering a dream.

This pick works layered over a turtleneck now and on its own come spring.

Or hang loose in this oversize-fitting pick from Billabong.

For a slightly more tailored option, try this one from En Saison.

You can just throw this one on and go.

A classic—Dickies was making coveralls long before they were cool.

Overalls are back in a big way this year. From classic baby-blue denim picks to edgier black options, the childhood staple is officially approved for adult life. Style them with sleeker layers underneath and wear them over your chunkiest knit sweater once it starts to get really cold.

A classic silhouette from a classic denim brand.

These are just as versatile as your favorite black mom jeans.

Oversize perfection.

The acid-washed stripes give these a lived-in feel.

Faux leather is always a good idea in the winter.

On the opposite side of the sartorial spectrum from overalls are catsuits. Yes, they’re the slinky one-pieces that have probably been dominating your Instagram feed lately. While they do work with your highest pair of pumps, catsuits can also be styled way down with a pair of sneakers, bunched-up socks, and a cozy puffer on your off days.

Everything from Girlfriend Collective is alwaysworth picking up.

Style this with an oversize black belt on your night out.

For working out in or just lounging around the house.

This faux-leather pick works with heels and booties.

So slinky!

If you really want to make a statement this winter, try a jumpsuit that features an all-over print. Whether or not the print you choose is black-and-white or full of color is up to you.

For all of my subtle-print lovers!

Groovy, baby.

An updated version of your standard black-and-white print.
