Talk About A Soft Launch—These 7 Outfits Are a Sneak Peek At My Fall Wardrobe

There was a time when all I could do was daydream about summer. Quite a few heat waves later, I’m starting to think about how nice the cooler weather in fall will be. My amazing collection of outerwear hasn’t left my closet since May and I’m dying to let those oversized leather jackets out of their cage. The part of dressing for fall that I’m most excited about is the layering. Slowly piling on additional levels of clothing is downright entertaining.

One of my favorite things to do when I get ready for a new season is to compile a list of the outfits that I’m most excited to wear. So below, you’ll find my guide to transitioning to fall. These 7 outfits are guaranteed to get you excited so enjoy.

A cream suit might just be the perfect outfit to wear when you’re getting ready for fall. While a tailored blazer and pants is the ultimate autumn apparel, cream is a staple in summer. Combining the two is genius.

Shield sunglasses are simply so fun.

If it’s too hot where you are to sport a full suit, try this one that comes with matching shorts.

This is always the time of year that I refresh my sneaker collection.

If you’re ready to wear long sleeves but the temperatures are making that difficult, try a sheer one. If you saw just one runway show last season, you already know that every designer is in support of a sheer moment.

This is my ideal date night look.

My favorite bralette of all time.

Another wardrobe staple that I’m always piling up on when fall is on it’s way.

I predict that the knee-length skirt is going to continue to have its moment for many more months to come. This is such an easy and chic look to copy.

You don’t know comfort until you’ve tried this top that’s one of my personal favorites.

It’s giving back to school vibes.

You really can’t go wrong when putting a chain belt on top of any look.

This is the look that I’m most excited to copy. We all have a funky sweater, button-down shirt, and trench coat so get creative with what you have at home or add some new staples to your collection.

If you don’t have a good trench coat, I’m telling you, you won’t regret this purchase.

Now how fun is this sweater?

I’m all about a stiff button-down shirt.

Straight-leg jeans paired with a blazer have never failed me. When I have friends who don’t know what to wear in the fall, I plan on pointing them in this direction.

This set has officially won me over.

I’ll take as many ribbed tanks as I can get.

So many people have raved to me about these jeans.

You won’t meet a fashion editor who isn’t behind the distressed leather trend. Prepare to see this trend fully takeover come fall.

I just got this jacket for fall and it was love at first sight.

I heavily suggest a maxi skirt.

Something else I need to invest in for fall.

I love to slowly transition my favorite mini dresses into fall. All you need is the right accessories and a good blazer to top it off.

Now that’s a good blazer.

She’s perfection.

You can’t go wrong with a circular sunglass silhouette.

Absolute perfection.
