Stylish People Can’t Stop Raving About These 20 Pieces for Spring

I have to admit: I haven’t done as much shopping this year as I would have liked to. I found it difficult to justify buying another pair of white pumps when I was spending the majority of my time at home, perfectly comfortable in my fuzzy socks and leggings. The moment, however, has come for me to get my head back in the game. I was well aware that I’d need some shopping advice as I dusted off my credit card, and there was no one better to turn to than my favorite fashion folk who not only have covetable wardrobes but also have that knack for carrying their personal style into their home décor and beauty cabinets.

Who What Wear’s fashion director, Natalie Cantell, has the coolest classic style that I’ve been trying to copy without her noticing (not that she’d mind) for years now. I knew reaching out to her and Anneliese Dominguez, my fellow editor who really knows how to nail seasonal trends, would be a no-brainer. My Who What Wear team obviously did not disappoint, but I wanted to spice things up a bit. I’ve been following fashion influencers Keyma Morgan of The Style Weekender and Kelsey Floyd because they’ve mastered the art of loungewear while also managing to convince me to add a pop of color to my wardrobe. Between the four of these lovely ladies, I have my Macy’s cart filled to the brim with some of the most coveted (yet super affordable) spring pieces. From stylish home picks to the sweat set I need to get my hands on, these are the 20 items you can’t miss RN.

Natalie identifies her style personality as more classic, and if I’m being honest, she always gives me that New Yorker vibe I try to achieve even though I’m very much on the West Coast. “Spring shopping really feels even more optimistic than usual this year,” she tells me. “I’m buying things that I can wear at home immediately but can imagine getting excited about hopefully wearing around people in the real world before too long. I’m always looking for fashion staples I know I’ll wear to death, as well as gold accents and beauty products that promise to make me glow.”

You can layer this top under so many pieces, including a classic tailored blazer for dinner al fresco.

This cult classic oil is a mainstay among Who What Wear editors (and it also smells divine).

Somehow, Natalie manages to make even brushing your hair look chic.

You really can never go wrong with gold hoops.

Need these in my kitchen stat.

From the day Anneliese joined Who What Wear, I’ve been bugging her with questions like, “What kind of perfume are you wearing?” or “Where did you get those shoes?” I can’t help it—she has killer trendsetting style. For her spring wardrobe, she tells me, “I’m on the hunt for pieces I can mix and match with different things. I like knit tops I can throw on with jeans or dress up with a skirt or sandals that are chic yet comfortable enough to wear all the time. I’m all about neutrals but always try to add a little color for variety. It is spring, so it’s only right.”

This shape is trending for spring, and I’m here for it.

Pair this cropped top with the matching skirt or with a pair of jeans.

I’ve seen this mascara trending everywhere from TikTok to our editors’ Slack conversations.

I wasn’t kidding when I mentioned that I’d ask Anneliese what perfume she was wearing on a regular basis. Take her advice and grab this option. Trust me.

Saying goodbye to my boring white plates—Anneliese is onto something with these pops of color.

Keyma Morgan, who is a mom to a young toddler like myself, has introduced me to a slew of ways to incorporate color into my wardrobe. Yes, I’m one of those people who considers beige a color, so it really took someone with Morgan’s level of expertise in bold hues to convert me. “Spring to me means it’s time to have fun,” she explains. “I look for trends and fun colors that enhance my wardrobe. Maybe they remind me of something amazing or tell me we’re about to go on a journey.”

Puff sleeves and yellow? This combo makes this top look far more expensive than it actually is.

The baby blue touches on this wrap dress make it perfect for spring.

If, like myself, you’re new to adding more color to your every day, experiment with some lip color for your Zoom meetings.

Time to upgrade my coffee table décor.

Knowing pink will be huge this season, I say give an eyeshadow stick a try.

Finally, Kelsey Floyd has absolutely mastered the art of looking as fashion-forward as one can dream of being in loungewear. The full-time mom and influencer, who also manages to find time to create beautiful pottery, is speaking my language when it comes to shopping for the upcoming season. She explains that she’s “looking for elevated loungewear pieces that are comfortable and can be worn around the house, but with a cute pair of shoes and a few accessories, can easily be worn out of the house.”

After learning about adding color to my wardrobe from Morgan, I need this sweater.

… and matching pants.

The neutral tones of this color palette lend perfectly to a loungewear look when you want to feel more dressed up.

I didn’t know how badly I needed this pillow until Floyd recommended it. Imagine snuggling up with this? It’s a yes from me.

I can smell this perfume just by thinking about it. Like Floyd, this will always be part of my personal beauty counter.
