Sephora’s Spring Savings Event Is Here—I Highly Endorse These Worth-It Splurges

The onset of spring brings me joy for so many reasons. Warmer weather! Longer days! Fresh fashion trends! Ice cream cravings 24/7! But being the beauty-obsessed humans that we are, our favorite part of the season just might be Sephora’s annual Spring Savings Event

We wait all dang winter for Sephora’s beloved discounts, and today, April 1, marks the official start to your soon-come flurry of beauty spending—if you’re a Rouge member, that is! Here are the details: From April 1 to April 11, Rouge Members will get a whopping 20% off their shopping haul. From April 5 to April 1, VIB Members will get 15% off. And from April 7 to April 11, Insiders will get 10% off. Just use promo code SAVESPRING at checkout, in-store or online. Oh, and let’s not forget that all Beauty Insiders can receive 30% off Sephora Collection products, no promo code needed, from April 1 to April 11.

So, what’s the writing on the wall, you ask? Basically, these 11 special days are the best time to spring for anything and everything you’ve been wanting to purchase from Sephora’s mecca of beauty offerings. That super-expensive hair dryer you’ve had on your wish list? Now’s the time to splurge! The eye cream you’ve talked yourself out of buying too many times to count? Go for it!

We’re pretty sure you don’t need too much guidance here, but because Sephora carries hundreds of products (which can feel a bit daunting if you’re not sure where to start), we’ve combed through every single category (fragrance, skincare, makeup, tools, and more) and hand-selected the splurge-worthy products we’d highly recommend adding to your cart.

Of course, “splurge” is defined differently by everyone, so we’ve included products at a variety of price points to strike all types of fancies. Keep scrolling! Our editor-approved Sephora beauty splurges are just ahead, complete with the 20% off discount you’ll get if you’re a Rouge member. Happy shopping!

Please just believe me when I tell you this is the best eye cream you will ever try, and once you buy it, you’ll never feel the need to use anything else in your lifetime. Thank me later, and you’re welcome!

My 74-year-old mom and I have both been freaking the eff out over these glycolic and retinol resurfacing peel pads. I kid you not, they’re like a facial in a pad! They’re potent and contain retinol, so start incorporating them into your nightly skincare regimen once or twice a week and if tolerated. slowly build your way up from there. You will not believe the instant gratification in the smoothing, brightening, and skin-evening departments.

Yes, this is a supplement (and it’s spendy!) but it’s become one of my best-kept, ride-or-die secrets for glowing, healthy skin. It’s jam-packed with beautifying superfoods like astaxanthin—one of the most potent antioxidants in the world, glutathione—another amazing antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and supports healthy cellular function, and extra hits of vitamin C and E. This is one of the only supplements I’ve ever taken where I’ve seen visible and measurable differences in my skin. I can’t go without it now, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an A+ antioxidant formula. It’s expensive, so I recommend buying a few bottles while you can get them at a discount.

I don’t want to be dramatic, but this decadent watery oil from Guerlain is probably the closest you’ll ever get to a bottled fountain of youth. It’s refreshingly lightweight (so even the face oil despisers out there will still love it) and is chock-full of crème de la crème ingredients. Think Dynamic Black Bee Repair Technology (comprised of four sustainably sourced, exceptional quality honeys from protected islands, biospheres, and Blue Zones), the brand’s Exclusive Royal Jelly, and Commiphora oil—micro-encapsulated droplets that immediately melt on contact with the skin to deliver max hydration and nutrients.

I’m utterly obsessed with Dr. Devgan’s entire range of products, but this new-to-Sephora serum has to be at the tip-top of my list. If your budget’s bandwidth can support the splurge, your skin will truly luxuriate in the high-dose mix of complexion-loving antioxidants, retinol, and bakuchiol. It’s an anti-aging powerhouse. This is medical-grade skincare created by a world-renowned plastic surgeon, so it’s safe to say she knows what she’s doing when it comes to mega skin transformation.

By now, I hope that you all hopefully know that I don’t recommend super-expensive products lightheartedly. So, when I tell you to buy a $375 (or $300 if you’re a Rouge Member and buy today!), I’m telling you with cross my heart, hope to die certainly, that you will absolutely love it. A trifecta of Professor Bader’s signature TCC8 technology works alongside vitamin C and a fancy polysaccharide moisture complex to support healthy cellular renewal (translation: delayed visible aging), plus enhanced firmness, hydration, and all-around health. This serum is a worthwhile splurge if there ever was one!

When I tell you I’m addicted to Ouai’s best-selling leave-in conditioner, A) it smells freaking fantastic (with notes of bergamot, violet, and white musk), and B) it’s one of the most effective formulas I’ve tried when it comes to smoothing, detangling, heat protection, and shine enhancement.

I’m telling you now that you absolutely positively need to add this brand-new bonding serum from Olaplex to your cart. I love anything and everything Olaplex makes, but dare I say this is my favorite formula yet? I’m a minimalist when it comes to hair products, but this lightweight serum has officially edged itself into the deepest valves of my heart. I apply a nickel-size amount to my damp hair pre-oil and any other styling products, and once my hair dries, it’s impeccably soft, smooth, shiny, and healthy feeling. If you like instant and long-term gratification when it comes to the look and feel of your strands, you’ll flip for this.

I’ve tried practically every shampoo and conditioner under the sun, and Oribe’s iconic Gold Lust line is still the dynamic duo I can’t shut up about. From a special Bio-Restorative Complex that contains ingredients like biotin and plant-based collagen) to Mediterranean Cypress extract or next-level moisture, it just can’t be beaten.

If you, like me, simply don’t have the time, energy, or financial bandwidth to get into the salon for regular glossing treatments, this new launch from Kérastase will be your new BFF. Essentially, it’s a rinse-out salon-grade gloss treatment that will help strengthen, reseal, reshine, and protect damaged, colored hair.

I don’t know how many times I have to say this, but every other blow dryer I’ve tried just fails miserably in comparison with Dyson’s iconic model. It’s a huge leap (trust me—I know), but it will basically pay for itself considering how often you’ll use it, the damage you’ll avoid, and the lack of professional blowouts you’ll book. Now’s the time to treat yourself!

It’s so exciting to me that fun makeup is making a comeback, and if you’re as obsessed with the Euphoria aesthetic as I am, you’ll add at least a couple of Danessa Myricks’ Chrome Flake Gel pots to your cart. Just swipe the self-setting water-based formula on with a flat brush and you’re good to go!

Lip gloss is having a major moment right now, and this particular formula from Bobbi Brown is so coveted, it’s been known to convert the most anti-gloss beauty shoppers out there. The color range is stunning, it’s the antithesis of sticky, and it will actually keep your pout smooth, supple, and hydrated thanks to MVP ingredients à la hyaluronic acid and lush botanical oils. Slow Jam and Hot Streak are the two I’ve been keeping on standby.

Sorry to burst every single other highlighter’s bubble, but this is the best highlighter you’ll ever—and I mean ever try. A little goes a long way, and I’ve become addicted to adding a touch to my Cupid’s bow, cheekbones, browbones, and the bridge and tip of my nose. People always compliment my “glowing” skin, and I swear this stuff is the secret sauce. Plus, it looks impossibly natural, so people will think the radiance is natural, and not from a stick. (And really, isn’t that what we all want from an exceptional makeup product?!)

The hype around the newest foundation from Make Up For Ever is so worth it. In fact, I personally believe it deserves even more hype. It offers medium, ultra-customizable coverage, it looks practically invisible on the skin, it will last for up to 24 hours, and it features a cool AF micro-skin system that works with your actual skin to create that coveted “your skin but better” finish you crave. Don’t sleep on this—your summer beauty aesthetic is calling and requesting it.

This is a miracle product, and if you’ve previously sworn off powders, please try this one before you dissociate completely. It’s an ultra-fine pressed formula that effortlessly reduces shine and oil, gives skin a blurred, airbrushed effect (the name doesn’t lie!), and luxe ingredients like rose wax and almond oil helps rejuvenate and hydrate thirsty skin.

It’s really hard to choose just one Westman Atelier product to foist on your Spring Savings Event shopping cart, but I’d feel positively weird not recommending this contour stick to you. It’s creamy, dreamy, and the most blendable and satiny antidote for creating the sculpted, perfectly defined complexion of your dreams.

Dear Lord, this stuff is dreamy. I was influenced to incorporate it into my self-care routine after Bebe Rexha waxed poetic about it to me during an interview, and I’ve been completely smitten ever since. It’s this insane balm-oil hybrid that starts as a balm and then luxuriously melts into silky-smooth oil on contact for the most addictive sheen you’ve ever experienced. A little goes a long way, so the splurge is well worth it.

While we’re on the topic of sparkling, irresistible skin, we have to talk about Acqua di Parma’s Rosa Nobile Shimmering Body Oil. It’s brilliant alone, but I swear by adding a quick drop or two to the La Mer balm above for a completely out-of-this-world skin finish that’s not OTT, but enviously stunning and supremely photogenic. Try it once, and your skin will always feel naked without it.

I take the art of smelling good, extremely seriously, and I have an entire vanity littered with perfumes as proof. It’s truly so hard to choose a favorite child, but I have a next-level obsession with Bitter Peach from Tom Ford. It’s juicy, rich, and the most intoxicating fruity floral courtesy of notes like Peche de Vigne, Blood Orange, and Patchouli. It will put a spell on you and anyone lucky enough to be in your presence.

No one’s fragrance wardrobe is complete without one of Killian’s bewitching fragrances. The brand makes numerous favorites beloved by celebrities and beauty editors alike, but if I had access to your shopping cart and credit card, Good Girl Gone Bad is the poison I’d pick for you. I sure do have a type, so, surprise surprise, this one is another fruity floral number with starring notes like Orange Blossom, Osmanthus, and  Tuberose.

I feel confident telling you that you are not washing your makeup sponges, brushes, tools—what have you—often enough. I wasn’t either! Until that is, a fellow beauty editor told me about this next-level cleaner from Cinema Secrets that works so fast and so damn effectively it quickly became a no-brainer in my routine. Here’s the tea: It’s a professional-grade liquid cleaner that is quick-drying, rinse-free, and a 99.99% antimicrobial disinfectant. All you have to do is pour a little bit into a shallow dish, dip your brush one-quarter of the way up the bristles (the unique capillary action will draw it all the way up), and then wipe it clean with an absorbent paper towel or cloth. It’s so effective and satisfying—dare I say I even look forward to my cleansing protocol now?! While you can get it at a discount, I recommend splurging for the value size. Trust me—you won’t regret this!

A microcurrent device like this best-selling model from NuFace is one of the best things you can do to get more lift, chisel, and tone short-term and long-term. It’s great for fine lines and wrinkles, and once you try it, you’ll wonder why you waited so long.
