Tom Girardi, the husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Erika Jayne, has had his law license revoked amid allegations he embezzled from his clients.
Girardi — who is 81 — has Alzheimer’s disease and is unable to participate in court proceedings, according to a psychiatrist’s assessment filed in the case that was obtained by TheWrap.
Girardi is accused of “misappropriating” more than $2 million.
“Dementia impairs his ability to understand the hearing,” Superior Court consulting psychiatrist Dr. Nathan Lavid. “His emotional distress is directly related to his dementia and exacerbated by his confusion.”
Tom is also facing another lawsuit for allegedly not paying his partner Robert Keese as well as his former business partners Robert Finnerty and Jill O’Callahan $315,000 in income.
