President Donald Trump continues to be snubbed by his old pals, and this time, it’s the Patriots Coach Bill Belichick who has humiliated Trump by rejecting the president’s Medal Of Freedom — the highest honor in the US.
“Recently I was offered the opportunity to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which I was flattered by out of respect for what the honor represents and admiration for prior recipients,” he said in a statement per the National Football League. “Subsequently, the tragic events of last week occurred and the decision has been made not to move forward with the award.”
“Above all, I am an American citizen with great reverence for our nation’s values, freedom and democracy. I know I also represent my family and the New England Patriots team,” the statement read.
JEEZY IS NOT A FAN OF TRUMP
The White House has not yet responded to the rejection. Trump has less than two weeks in office and things continue to go from bad to worse for the president.
