Production on “Outlander” Season 3 is underway and to celebrate, Starz released two #Droughtlander treats – a video of Sam Heughan on set, and a photo of the star.
Sam, who plays Scottish Highlander Jamie Fraser in the series, is standing in a field in costume in the clip.
“Here we are, Day 1, Season 3, in a field. It’s Culloden. It could only be ‘Outlander.’ Happy Season 3 day. Let’s go fight,” he says.
In the pic, Sam is having what appears to be battlefield makeup applied.

Season 3’s first new cast member was recently announced — David Berry, who joined the series in the role of Lord John Grey.
On Tuesday, Sam Tweeted about the actor, writing, “#DavidBerry is SLAYING it btw.”
The new season is expected to premiere in 2017 on Starz.
