Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer Asks To Have Bail Reduced

Eric Holder, the alleged killer of Nipsey Hussle, is asking to have his bail reduced so he can go free from jail.

He says he’s no threat to the public.

Holder’s bail is currently set at $6.5 million.

“Based on the isolated nature of this case, Mr. Holder does not pose a risk of harm to the public,” the motion states per New York Daily News. “Even a reduction of bail down to $4 million should satisfy any concerns by the court and the District Attorney,” the filing from public defender Lowynn Young states.

Holder says he isn’t a flight risk because he doesn’t hold a passport and has significant family ties to the community.

Prosecutors say he fatally shot Hussle in the head and torso outside the rapper’s Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. After an argument with Nipsey about snitching, Eric Holder is seen on surveillance camera returning to the scene. He then fired multiple rounds into Nipsey Hussle with both a semiautomatic handgun and a revolver.
