The leather trench coat is one of those humble wardrobe workhorses that comes in and out of vogue depending on everything from the weather forecast to the cultural vibe. With the resurgence of Y2K-era fashion, we’ve seen celebs channeling Matrix-esque looks, often pairing long leather trench coats with rectangular sunglasses, harkening back to the blockbuster film’s minimal yet majorly influential costume design.
