Jennifer Lopez and Alexander Rodriguez have decided to call it quits after trying to get their relationship back on track.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support,” the couple said in a statement to TODAY.
The couple’s relationship hit the rocks after it was revealed that A-Rod had been exchanging text messages with Southern Charm star, Madison LeCroy.

Last month, a source said that “They hit a rough patch that made them think about what they should do,” and that it was tough for the couple to see each other amid COVID-19 restrictions while JLo was working in the Dominican Republic and A-Rod was in Miami.
“All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things,” the couple said at the time.
