Barnes accused Tambor of verbally abusive behavior and sexual harassment, saying he gave her butt pads and that he suggested they should have an affair. Lysette, who acts as Shea in Transparent, alleged Tambor made “sexual advances and comments” toward her and said that “one time it got physical.”

The actor has denied all allegations made against him. “I adamantly and vehemently reject and deny any and all implication and allegation that I have ever engaged in any improper behavior toward this person or any other person I have ever worked with,” Tambor said in a statement at the time.

“I am deeply sorry if any action of mine was ever misinterpreted by anyone as being sexually aggressive or if I ever offended or hurt anyone. But the fact is, for all my flaws, I am not a predator and the idea that someone might see me in that way is more distressing than I can express.”

Despite leaving the Amazon show, Tambor will reprise his role as George Bluth Sr. in the upcoming season of AD. The show currently doesn’t have a release date, but creator Mitch Hurwitz said in a tweet that Season 5 will start streaming on Netflix “real soon.”
