Out of all the trends to make their way for fall 2022, it’s the pretty and ultra-femme aesthetic that I can’t seem to get off my mind. Brands like Miu Miu and 16Arlington sent down a wave of pastels down their fall/winter 2022 runways and have managed to capture the hearts of fashion folk everywhere—my fellow editors and I included. Retailers are paying close attention because while pastels aren’t usually what dominates the fall market, that’s all I can spot while perusing the new arrivals pages. As someone who usually doesn’t gravitate towards pastels, I’m enjoying pairing the look with more of my edgier fall pieces.
