I'm a Beauty Editor—These Are the & Other Stories Beauty Buys I Swear By

Take a quick glance through my wardrobe and you’ll be able to tell straight away that I’m a fan of & Other Stories. While I am by no means a fashion connoisseur, I do know that as a retailer, it does a rather great job of offering up chic yet wearable fashion options. And although I do love perusing the fashion section, when I’m shopping, there’s really only ever one thing on my mind: beauty

As more and more high-street stores amp up their beauty offerings, it is & Other Stories that sets the bar. In fact, in the past, when other brands offered up little more than budget hand creams at till points, & Other Stories had a whole collection of beauty goodies on offer. When it launched in 2013, it had enlisted cult perfume brand Byredo’s founder, Ben Gorham, and world-renowned makeup artist Lisa Butler to consult on its fragrance, skincare and colour offerings. Seven years later and things just keep getting better and better. With pretty packaging, great product efficacy and super-impressive price tags, there’s little I can fault.

So next time you’re browsing the dresses, shoes or accessories (I mean, they’re all good), why not pop some beauty products in your virtual basket too?

If you’re not sure what to choose, let me guide you to the best beauty buys & Other Stories has to offer.

Fresh and delicate but a little bit milky and warming at the same time, this coconutty perfume also carries notes of vanilla and caramel. It’s the ultimate sweet, summer spritz.

This fun, fresh yet multiseasonal scent, boast notes of Ruby cherry alongside wild orchid and tonka. It makes for a delicate addition to any perfume collection.

As it’s name suggests this affordable scent is lemony, light and the perfect perfume for spring. *Adds to basket*

Jasmine sambac, saffron flower and wild raspberry form the base of this decadent scent from the beloved         retailer, making it the evening spritz to shop.

More recently, & Other Stories has added some cult beauty brands into its offering, and quite frankly, I’m over the moon about it. This Frank Body scrub leaves skin feeling almost impossibly soft.

Another great beauty brand stocked at & Other Stories is Klairs, a vegan Korean skincare brand that champions a simple skincare approach. This vitamin C serum leaves skin glowing, more even and radiant.

If there’s one thing I can’t not pick up when I’m shopping in & Other Stories, it’s hand soap. They’re affordable and chic with room-filling scents. I highly recommend.

Slathering yourself in a rich, nourishing body cream that also smells divine post-bath really is a feeling that can’t be beaten, isn’t it? This citrusy, floral-scented cream leaves my limbs feeling nourished well into the next day.

Creamy and nourishing with the ability to last all day, these lipsticks are rich in softening oils to make for the most comfortable wear. Plus, the shade selection is totally dreamy.

Nothing makes me happier than a multi-use beauty product, and this is just about my favourite going. Simply warm the cream up with your fingers, and blend into the apples of the cheeks and onto the lips, and I even love a light wash over the lids.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love a glowing makeup look. This subtle highlighting powder has a slight peachy tone to it that instantly makes me look more alive.

Cream makeup gets a big tick in my book, especially when it comes to eye shadows. One swipe of this eye colour across the lids and I am good to go. I’m particularly loving Suede Bronze for its natural-looking but glowing finish.

I’m obsessed with these long-lasting and easy-to-use nail polishes. My personal favourite? The bright and poppy Feu Bonté is perfect for summer.

At just £4 each, these mini hand creams are scattered all over my flat (and desk). With a tube in my handbag, one in my desk drawer and one on my bedside table, I can’t get enough. This particular scent has me dreaming of tropical destinations.

Have punky lacquers been filling your social feeds? Mine too, but luckily this metallic option from the high street favourite has us covered.

If like me you are not quite ready to let summer go but are stuck finding a nail colour that transitions well, then let this be your sign to go Orange.
