I Tried On 19 Swimsuits From the Comfort of My Own Home—These 10 Were My Faves

Okay, fine, I’ll admit it: I have a bit of an obsession with bikinis. (Did the story title give it away?) Truthfully, I can’t really go a day without browsing the new-swim-arrivals section of my favorite retailers. But, hey, I’m an L.A. girl, so beach season is pretty much year-round here. And right now, I’m shopping for all of the cool suits I’ll be wearing this summer—starting on my balcony.

After trying on what felt like a million suits (I’m a 32DD and picky about my tops!), my swim drawer is now overflowing with all the bikini styles you could think of—bandeau, triangle, sporty, balconette—and I’m not mad about it. Keep scrolling for the 10 bikinis I’m declaring my absolute favorites, plus a few more I’m obsessing over.

I love, love, love anything from Monday Swimwear. I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, I swear by anything founders Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman create since they have bigger busts like I do. Since I’m a DD with a smaller band size, I’m always in between sizes, but because of the tie in the back of this suit, I’m able to adjust the top to make it fit perfectly.

The color makes me so happy, the crinkle fabric makes me so happy, the cut makes me so happy—so yes, this bikini obviously is one of my favorites.

I was skeptical about this bikini since I usually want a little bit more fabric for my chest (as you can tell from my tan lines here—ignore them!), but I ended up falling in love with it. Not only is the color super fun, but the cups are pretty adjustable (and the straps tie on the top and bottom) so you can choose how much coverage you want.

I’m a big fan of bandeau tops. A lot of people think that with bigger boobs, it’s harder to wear the style. Sometimes that’s true, but you just have to find the right brand. When there’s enough fabric and it’s tight enough on your body (but not too tight that it smushes your boobs down), it looks and feels so good.

I’ve been eyeing everything tie-dye these days (I blame Instagram), and this suit did not disappoint. The color is so bright, and I love that the cute tankini style makes me feel a little nostalgic about my childhood.

Yet another bandeau style that is so good! There is so much support in this top, and the fabric feels like actual butter. Trust me: You always need that staple black suit in your bikini drawer.

I’ve honestly been on the hunt for a printed suit for almost a year now, and I finally found a winner.

The balconette on this suit is everything. It’s seriously so supportive. Also, I just can’t get over how good this color is.

I’m not sure why I decided on a mini tree pose for this photo, but here we are. I’m super intrigued by swimsuits on Amazon because they’re so cheap, but I’m always a little worried about the quality. This one, however, pleasantly surprised me (enough so that I’m going to add to the 1000+ good reviews on the site). I also love this color—it looks expensive.

I originally got this suit for Coachella (sad!), but it works perfectly for this summer as well. The style is unique and makes me feel chic (something about that balconette). I also love the cut of the bottoms.
