Hairstylist Justine Marjan Shares the Products She Can’t Live Without

Celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan might have the most zen beauty wardrobe we’ve ever seen.

When Marjan films all of her video content at her Riki Loves Riki mirror and vanity in her glam room, she’s surrounded by fresh flowers and crystals.

“I feel like they really do help to neutralize the air and bring positive energy into this space so that I’m always coming from a good and happy place when I’m working and filming content,” she says.

Marjan’s beauty closet is stacked with the makeup and hair products of our dreams.

When it comes to beauty tools, Marjan loves Nurse Jamie‘s UpLift Facial Massaging Beauty Roller ($69): “It feels so good and cooling, and it’s great for sculpting the face.”

Because Marjan has an entire room dedicated to beauty, she keeps her products and tools organized in an IKEA dresser.

“I love it because the drawers are super functional,” she says. “I can easily grab what I need when I’m filming a tutorial or getting ready in the morning.”

Marjan likes to keep things simple in the morning and loves to use Nudestix products as a base.

“They just make it so easy to get ready in the morning,” she adds.

For those with warmer skin tones, Marjan has found that the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder in Honey ($39) works wonders.

She says, “It’s great for medium skin tones and for olive skin tones like mine, where you might have more yellow underlying pigment.”

Don’t even get Marjan started on her epic collection of lip products—including more than one nude lipstick. “I’m that girl that has a thousand different shades of nude lipstick,” she says.

The nude shade that Marjan wears the most is from Espressoh.

“It’s the perfect nude for my skin,” she says. “A lot of nudes tend to look too pink on me, but this has a little bit more of a brown base.”

Given Marjan is an expert hairstylist to the stars, it comes as no surprise that she has so many styling tools and products to up your ‘do game.

Before beginning any styling routine, you need to protect your hair. Marjan loves to use microfiber towels so much that she has a drawer full of them. “They are so much better for you than regular towels,” she explains.

If your hair tends to get tangled often, Marjan is obsessed with the Wet Brush Pro Detangler ($8) that’s under $10. “This is, by far, the best detangling brush. It does not snag on your hair or cause any breakage,” she says.

For styling, Marjan recommends hot tools from GHD, such as the Helios Advanced Professional Hair Dryer ($195). She says, “It’s super lightweight and quieter than the original blow-dryer. It dries the hair fast and helps to eliminate frizz.”

Marjan also has a killer lineup of go-to hair products that she always turns to, including the Leonor Greyl Éclat Naturel Styling Cream ($46), which she describes as similar to lotion for your hair. “Just use a small amount to tame frizz and make your ends look polished,” she instructs.

For root touch-ups, Marjan loves Rita Hazan‘s Root Concealer Touch Up Spray ($12). It’s amazing at just touching up grays or concealing grown-out roots. Either way, it does the trick.

Beyond tools and products, Marjan loves to use accessories to style her hair, including clips and headbands from her collaboration with Kitsch

“I love hair accessories because you can mix and match them and really have fun with them and let your creativity shine,” she gushes.

If you’re new to the hair-accessory game, Marjan recommends starting with a headband. “These are the best way to wear hair accessories if you’re timid to wear them or if you’re unsure of what to do,” she says.
