Tekashi 6ix9ine previewed an upcoming track last week, and although DJ Funkmaster Flex says he likes the track — he still won’t be playing it on his radio show.
“I’m not going to play this…BUT this is thumping!” he wrote on Akademiks’ post of 6ix9ine’s snippet. “JUST MY OPINION!”
Ak then reposted the comment, writing: “#funkflex says even tho he won’t play #6ix9ine new song on the radio .. it’s fire. Should he support the song by playing it if he thinks it’s fire?”
Flex is not the only radio station choosing to boycott Tekashi 6ix9ine after he snitched on his codefendants in exchange for a short prison sentence. The Breakfast Club is also refusing to play 6ix9ine.

“You decided to tell on everyone that you was just riding on,” DJ Envy explained. “You turned on everybody. You get released and now you’re rewarded for it? I just don’t necessarily think it’s a message that I want to do. I don’t want to promote to kids that you go wild and do some stupid ish and you just go tell on the people you’ve done and all of a sudden you come out and can put out records and it’s all cool.”
