If you haven’t figured it out by now, we’re mildly obsessed with Madelyn Cline. Our former cover star never disappoints in the fashion department, but seems to turn out equally as iconic makeup looks on the red carpet. If you’re wondering how she does it, the key lies in good skin prep and, of course, the help of a fantastic makeup artist like Jen Tioseco. Tioseco helped prep Cline’s skin for the Outer Banks season three premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday night using a few key products. For all the details, keep scrolling. Tioseco let us on a few of her best red carpet skincare prep secrets and revealed the full product breakdown for Cline’s stunning makeup look.

As any makeup artist will tell you, skin prep is the key to any good makeup look. This time around, Tioseco used Dermalogica products. They created the perfect hydrated canvas for Tioseco to work on. She shared her step-by-step process below.

“As always, we wanted to keep her skin fresh and bronzy, so we focused on skin prep using all Dermalogica. I started by using Dermalogica’s Micellar Prebiotic PreCleanse and massaged it into her face. I then took a damp face cloth and used it to remove any excess dead skin. I loved using this cleanser because it’s still really hydrating.” —Tioseco

“Then I sprayed her face with Dermalogica’s Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist followed by Dermalogica’s Circular Hydration Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and then I really massaged these products into her skin for extra hydration.” —Tioseco

“I also mixed a little of Dermalogica’s Circular Hydration Serum With Hyaluronic Acid into her foundation (Chanel Vitalumiere) to keep her looking extra plump!” —Tioseco

“Next, I used Dermalogica’s Biolumin-C Vitamin C Eye Serum. I put a good layer of that under her eyes and placed eye patches on top so that the serum would soak into the under eye area.” —Tioseco. Tioseco then went in with another layer of the Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist to bring life back into the look and set it.

Tioseco started this look with Chanel’s Vitalumière foundation which is rich in hydration and provides full-coverage for up to 24 hours. The formula is also enriched with luminous perfection soft-focus powder that corrects visible imperfections and illuminates the complexion.

Then, she went in with this beauty-editor loved concealer from Nars to brighten.

To add extra warmth and radiance to the skin, Tioseco then applied Chanel’s creamy bronzer in Soleil Tan.

She used one of Pat McGrath’s iconic mothership palettes to create Cline’s gorgeous smokey bronze-gold look on the lids.

For mascara, she went with a sleek option from Tom Ford.

On the lips, she applied Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat Lip Liner in the shade Iconic Nude and a Chanel lipstick that’s now sold out.
