So, not sure if you’ve heard but Tory Burch is positively thriving right now. Emily Ratajkowski, for one, got the memo. She attended W Magazine’s 50th Anniversay party this week in New York, and she decided to go all out, in Tory Burch no less.Ratajkowski is never one to shy away for a daring trend, and her outfit for W’s party proved it.
If you’ve been following fashion’s micro-trends this season, you may have noticed that very sheer, very sparkly pieces are the moment. Ukranian brand Santa Brands, which creates primarily sheer, sparkly pieces, is being snapped up by retailers such as FWRD and Farfetch, and more affordable brands such as & Other Stories are also getting in on the trend. But it’s Tory Burch that designed Ratajkowsi’s jaw-dropping dress (which will be out in November). And about that dress, it’s a long-sleeve maxi dress constructed of blue thread and sequins. (It may not be what you think of when you think of Tory Burch, but the brand is experiencing somewhat of a rebirth as of late, with more trend-forward designs than ever.) EmRata wore a satin bra and thong under the dress, and I think it’s safe to assume that all eyes were on her at the party.
