Diddy Helps Shyne Return To The US – He’s Now A Diplomat

Shyne was deported back to his home of Belize after being released from prison in 2009. Shyne had served 10 years in prison after being convicted of attempted murder, assault, and reckless endangerment in the now-infamous New York nightclub shooting.

“Shyne was granted his Visa to meet with US senators and congressmen across the country to establish new relationships between Belize and the US,” writes Baller Alert. “With the help of Diddy lobbying for his return to America, Shyne as able to come back to the US.”

While serving his prison sentence, Shyne became interested in Judaism and later became observant, practicing Orthodox Judaism, officially changing his name to Moses Michael Levi Barrow in 2006. 

After being released from prison in 2009, he was deported to Belize. He has since been appointed the country’s Ambassador of Music charged with the sustainable development of the music industry in Belize and has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to develop it.

“Good evening everyone, I departed Belize for an official visit to the United States today,” Shyne shared in an Instagram post on Sunday.

“I’ll be meeting with Members of the U.S. Congress as well as State Senators and House Members to strengthen relationships and establish new relationships to further the development of Belize.”
