Jennifer Lopez’s “World of Dance” just got bigger.
Six-time “Dancing with the Stars” champ Derek Hough and multi-platinum-selling R&B artist Ne-Yo will join JLo at the judges’ table for NBC’s upcoming reality competition series, the network announced on Tuesday.
According to a press release, the show will pit solo dancers against duos and crews across a variety of genres, including hip-hop, tap, ballet, ballroom, krumping and more. Finalists chosen from within three divisions will compete for a grand prize of $1 million and the title of “Best in the World.”

All three celebrity judges boast extensive dance backgrounds – a common trait which made for an ideal lineup, Universal Television Alternative Studio President Meredith Ahr said in a statement.
“Jennifer, Derek and Ne-Yo are three of the most accomplished dancers of their generation, and their incredible insight from the judges’ table will be both inspiring and wholly constructive to the world-class level of dancers who are competing on the show,” the statement read. “We feel so very honored that the three of them are giving back to the dance community in this way.”
“World of Dance” is expected to premiere sometime in 2017, with a 10-episode first season. In addition to judging duties, Jennifer will also serve as an executive producer.
