Popular 1980s R&B singer Chico DeBarge arrested for possession of crystal meth in Burbank, CA, MTO News has learned
According to a new report from TMZ, Chico DeBarge was pulled over with two passengers on January 13 for driving at night with no headlights or license plates. When police pulled over Chico and his friends, they learned that the R&B singer didn’t have any ID. The police claim that Chico lied about who he was, and told officers that he was his older brother James.

MTO News learned that officers claim they then found crystal meth and heroin after searching the singer . Chico was taken into custody, where his real identity was discovered, and he was charged with drug possession, driving under the influence and impersonation.
Chico was in jail for 10 days, until he was finally able to make bail.
