A New Conservative News Network Is Looking For “Buxom And Attractive” Women And “Butler Types”

An unnamed “up-and-coming conservative news network” has put up casting notices for “butler types” and “soap opera actress types.”

The network is in search of “dramatic actors for improvised recreations of political events.” It was not immediately clear which recent political events would require a butler or a soap opera actress.

Fox News suggested this week that the network could be tied to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. But when asked if Trump’s campaign had any knowledge of the network or if the network was connected to Trump, a representative told BuzzFeed News via email, “None whatsoever.”

In the casting notice, the butler character is described as “experienced” and “sophisticated,” wearing some kind of suit. The notice calls for “African American,
Caucasian, Hispanic, ethnically ambiguous” actors to audition. The actress character is described as “buxom and attractive.” Additionally, the actress “must be able to convey a range of emotions from excited, to upset, to sexual.” Women auditioning for the role must dress “upscale” in a “form-fitting dress” and heels. “All ethnicities” are invited to audition.

Auditions will be held in an undisclosed location in Manhattan on Monday, Nov. 7, the day before the election.

In addition to improv actors, the conservative network is also looking for “reporters, hosts and panelists for informative news segments, opinion pieces and panel discussions regarding U.S. politics and current events,” as Fox News first reported. The Trump campaign has already streamed an original news program, but Trump has downplayed suggestions that he’s thinking of launching a television network if he loses the presidential campaign.

In October, the Financial Times reported that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner was working on launching a media company post-election. But Trump previously told the Washington Post in September, “I have no interest in a media company. False rumor.”
