When it’s warm, 70 something degrees, and the clouds have graciously decided to disappear, I don’t go to the park, I go window-shopping. Most malls in Los Angeles have the distinction of being outside, so taking a moment to stroll between stores is essentially like taking laps in Central Park ( at least in my head anyway). Last weekend during one of those outings, I skipped all of the other stores and headed straight for Nordstrom. It’s wasn’t like I needed another summer dress, but I was shopping for one anyway, and of course I ended up leaving with more. The retailer’s assortment of new arrivals are extra noteworthy, so much so that I’m still thinking about them days later. Turns out Madewell is good at a lot of things outside of amazing jeans.
