I’ll admit when I saw mall brands like J.Crew and Banana Republic making their way to my TikTok feed, I was skeptical. I had categorized them as brands of the past and assumed they wouldn’t have cool pieces that I would actually want to wear. To my surprise, as I watched more unboxings and try-on hauls going through new arrivals, I was seeing so many pieces that I wanted to get my hands on. After being proven so wrong, I figured it was finally time to do a deep dive on J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Mango to see which pieces stood out to me. When I say these brands have seriously upped their game, I’m not exaggerating. I found so many things my wardrobe was lacking, from great coats to bags that look way pricier than they are to stellar denim and sweaters to wear till the end of the season.
