12 Paris Couture Street Style Looks I’m Immediately Replicating

Last week, some of the world’s most stylish people brought their best smizes and most impressive looks to view the glittering collections at Paris Haute Couture Week. The four-day showcase represents the best of the best creations the fashion world has to offer, but it was the street style that had our minds occupied. Since it’s haute couture we’re talking about, not just any outfit will do: As expected, attendees brought their sartorial A-game, but it wasn’t the over-the-top spectacle one might expect. In a twist, the majority of street style looks were quite practical and actually wearable.

From simple knits to no-frills denim, there was a heavy emphasis on timeless looks comprised of just the staples. And in accordance with Paris’s chilly temps, a parade of noteworthy coats and jackets also made a strong appearance. With it similarly too cold to think right here across the ocean, you may want to give each of these looks a try (or at the very least save them for later). Keep scrolling for the full report of Paris Couture street style looks we’re immediately replicating ourselves.

Why We Love It: I bet you already have most, if not all of these pieces sitting in your closet right now, so here’s a good idea of what to do with them. The extra-long maxi coat adds some subtle drama.

Why We Love It: It’s tempting, but please don’t feel the need to drape yourself in dark moody shades this winter. It’s perfectly feasible to pull off your white-colored staples—just add boots and a trendy knit.

Why We Love It: The contrast of textures and colors—a black, velvet blazer and cream crisp pants—immediately catches the eye, but the entire outfit is so effortless.

Why We Love It: A suit will rarely steer you wrong, and if it’s a saturated shade of green like this, you’ll be in for a ton of compliments.

Why We Love It: Here’s a lesson in how little details can make a big difference—the oversized textured blazer and split-toe Tabi boots are classic enough to wear as staples but give the rest of the look a cool factor.

Why We Love It: The knit bra trend is still going strong, and we’re here for it.

Why We Love It: Amina Muaddi shoes are guaranteed to cause a stir—even if they’re paired with basic denim.

Why We Love It: A sleek leather topper is really a worthwhile staple to add to your winter wear arsenal. It’s like instant polish.

Why We Love It: This entire outfit is the embodiment of quiet luxury, with not a heel nor a designer logo in sight. A faux fur robe coat just also might be the thing that makes these 20-degree days spiritually (and physically) bearable.

Why We Love It: When in doubt, it’s always smart to reference a decade—case in point the 70’s.

Why We Love It: Not only is a big faux fur coat cool as hell, it’s super practical in the winter. It also looks even better with a pair of 90s inspired black oval sunglasses. Whether you’re in New York or Paris, this outfit works just about anywhere.

Why We Love It: We already declared the shearling coat, the IT-piece of the moment, I guess this street style outfit solidifies it.
