11 Black TikTokers to Follow for All Things Fashion and Beauty

TikTok has obviously made a huge space for itself in the fashion and beauty sphere within the past year. With new viral challenges and trends popping up every day, it’s clear that there is no shortage of talent on the social media platform. The fashion media industry has taken quick note of the growth of the predominantly Gen-Z platform, and while we’ve already seen a variety of headlines with TikTok users like Addison Rae and the D’Amelio sisters, it’s important to acknowledge the black creators of the app, who have often been at the forefront of the video trends you scroll through on a daily basis.

As individuals, we may not be able to completely reform industries as a whole, but it’s equally as important to give black creators a voice in the space we’re in, especially in the world of fashion and beauty where the mainstream tends to gravitate towards white counterparts. Ahead, scroll through to find black creators creating all sorts of content that you can start following and supporting right now.

Once you start watching one of Bex’s mesmerizing makeup tutorials, it’s hard to not binge-watch them all. Despite the fact that I’ve been struggling to even wear mascara on most days, Bex’s videos inspire to me get a little more creative with my beauty routine.

We’ve featured Hodan on WWW before to get a scoop on her best thrift finds, but she really takes thrifted fashion and androgynous style to a whole new level. TikTok users think so too, as almost every one of her fashion videos seems to go viral.

Bria makes a variety of videos from relationship advice to beauty hacks, but she’s most known for her fashion-trend recaps and advice for creating content as a style influencer—all with her added humour in the mix.

Kiitan documents a large portion of her style on TikTok with daily outfit videos, styling roundups, and following trendy fashion challenges like #30DaysofOutfits. She also showcases her traditional Nigerian garments.

Jackie Aina is already a powerhouse on YouTube, but her TikTok content is just as good. She’s been posting calming mini vlogs featuring snippets of her day in 60 seconds, and my favorite series is her ratings, where she rates perfumes, luxury purchases, hairstyles, and more.

You may recognize Sofia as Gina Porter from High School Musical the Series on Disney+, but she’s just as entertaining to watch on TikTok. She’s also signed with IMG Worldwide, and her content features sneak peeks into her life on set and dance videos, all where she dons cool Gen-Z outfits that you’ll want to copy.

Whitney’s beauty tutorials don’t really feel like you’re watching a tutorial, rather watching art, especially when you see the final result. She uses calming sounds and zooms into each part of her look, taking you into the whole process of her fun and glowy makeup.

I’ve seen Rafiqah from her campaigns with Glossier, but she’s quickly taken to TikTok to expand and try out a variety of different looks that look like they came straight out of Euphoria.

When I found Jazmine on my For You page, she was an instant follow. She mostly focuses on sustainable style, featuring thrift store picks and brands like Lisa Says Gah and Paloma Wool.

A simple five-minute scroll through Wisdom’s page and you’ll find yourself shocked at the levels of production he puts into his fashion content. From self-filmed runway shoots to videos working with Prada and Dior, he’s made himself a name in the world of high fashion.

Shahd does it all, from YouTube videos to creating capsule collections with brands like ASOS. She’s joined TikTok only recently, but she plans on posting more and with her vibrant energy and cool-girl style she makes an obvious follow.
