Tyler Fischer isn’t afraid to mock Presidents Joe Biden AND Donald Trump.
It’s sad we need to categorize a political satirist in that fashion. Blame partisan late-night shows and “Saturday Night Live.”
That New Normal is why Fischer’s latest stand-up special hits so hard.
His impressions are just one of many reasons to check out “Tyler Fischer: No Pardon Needed.” The Daily Wire alum’s latest debuts on FOX Nation Jan. 20 AKA Inauguration Day. It’s a hilarious mashup of crowd work, impressions and biting social commentary.
Taped at Austin’s Comedy Mothership, “No Pardon Needed” lets Fischer flash his uncanny blend of impressions and keen cultural observations.
And, yes, he breaks out his inimitable Dr. Fauci impression. He even gives Vice President Kamala Harris a brief roasting on the way out.
“She wasn’t available for the biggest podcast in the world … whoopsie daisies!” he says, referencing how she declined Joe Rogan’s invitation in the campaign’s waning hours.
Not Fischer.
“I moved here and the first day I was on Rogan. I had two funerals, a wedding and a surgery, and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m free, I’m available.’”
The 45-minute special touches on trans issues, politics and dating. Fischer now calls both Austin and New York City home, giving him two radically different cultures to spoof. Some of his sharpest material has him X-raying the past four calamitous years.
The “Lady Ballers” star may lean to the Right, but he’s not cruel or overtly partisan. It’s not his fault that progressive culture gives him so much material.
He doesn’t avoid President Trump’s flaws, including a funny bit that shows the leader’s penchant for tall tales. Later, he shows how Trump can turn almost anything, like lawfare on steroids, into a talking point.
It’s almost impossible to concoct funny Trump jokes in 2025. Fischer does it with ease.
His Biden material matters for obvious reasons. So few comics were willing to tell these jokes for four-plus years. Now, some have permission to share them, but Fischer has been ahead of the curve.
Watching him wander around the club, Biden, style, is the kind of Truth to Power comedy Colbert and Co. ceded to today’s rebel comics.
“Tyler Fischer: No Pardon Needed” is available Monday Jan. 20 exclusively on FOX Nation.
