The trial of Eric Holder, the alleged killer of Nipsey Hussle will likely be delayed until the end of the year after Holder hired a new attorney.
According to The Shade Room, Holder refused to leave his cell to go to Tuesday’s hearing, so Judge Clay Jacke was forced to to delay the case once again.
Back in December, Judge Robert J. Perry, who has since retired, delayed the trial by three months due to the pandemic. Holder’s previous attorney, Lowynn Young has since become a judge so he will now be represented by Aaron Hansen.
‘FOR LIFE’ TRAILER
Court officials told The Shade Room that “a new judge coupled with a new defense attorney can only mean that it will take a few months for them to get caught up on the case.”
Holder was arrested for one count of murder, two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. He faces life in prison if convicted.
