Comedian Tony Rock has accused Diddy of lying about Will Smith and Chris Rock ending their beef behind the scenes.
A fan asked him, “@TONYROCK so Diddy was lying when he said Chris and Will made up that night and are good now?”
And Tony Rock confirmed that it was a lie.
“That’s not a problem. That’s over. I can confirm that,” Diddy told Page Six. “It’s all love,” he added. “They’re brothers.”
After the slap, Smith was not removed from the ceremony. He was allowed to go on stage and collect an award.
“I want to apologize to the Academy. I want to apologize to all of my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment, and I’m not crying for winning an award,” Smith said. “It’s not about winning an award for me; it’s about being able to shine a light on all of the people.”
He apologized to Rock the day after on Instagram.
