‘Tiger King’ Says It’s Been A ‘Year Of Hell’ Since Show Debut

Tiger King Joe Exotic says it’s been a year of hell since the Netflix documentary about his big cat park debuted online.

John M. Phillips released remarks on behalf of his client, who is currently behind bars serving a 22-year sentence. He says Exotic said that “it has been a year of hell” since Tiger King aired. Exotic says that his former employees only “collect money and talk sh*t to get on TV,” rather than help him as he did for them.

Exotic was hoping to receive a pardon from Trump before leaving office, but the Trump administration declined to grant him clemency.

“I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first,” he tweeted after he heard the news.
