These Festive Looks Are All Fashion Editors Care About This Season

‘Tis the season for embracing every holiday moment in style, whether that means heading to a fancy party or just spending a cozy day on the couch. Anneliese Dominguez, my friend and fellow fashion editor, is essentially Who What Wear’s unofficial mascot for the festive season. As usual, she’s beyond excited for every event she has planned over the next month.

In true fashion-editor style, Anneliese has a slew of cute outfits picked out for each moment, including plenty of stylish winter pieces from Express. The brand is a staple for many of us here at Who What Wear thanks to its always on-trend (and budget-friendly) selection, but its holiday collection, in particular, really is *chef’s kiss.* Keep scrolling to see the stylish looks Anneliese has lined up for the holiday season and what she has to say about each one.

“Since I moved in with my fiancé, we’ve started making new holiday traditions, which is so much fun. We’ve decided to go out and hunt for the most perfect tree, and I can’t wait to bring it home and decorate it. There’s something extra special about having a real tree in the house (and knowing that we’re the ones who chose it).”

“When hunting for the perfect tree, I’ll need something cute and comfortable to spend the day in. Faux leather is it right now, and puffer jackets continue to reign supreme. So a combo of them both? So chic. And it’s perfect for a day out.”

“My mom and I live for cheesy holiday movies. When I was growing up, I’d watch them with her all the time. We’d get cozy on the couch, grab our favorite Christmas cookies, and marathon-watch the movies playing on TV. Now, even though we live far apart, we’ll video-call each other after we watch the new releases.”

“I need something cozy to wear during my cheesy holiday-movie marathons—it’s only right! I love that this set makes me feel a little bit put together while keeping me incredibly comfortable.”

“My fiancé and I are planning on hosting our first holiday party together! We’re going to get all of our friends together to eat yummy food, exchange gifts, and frost cookies. The dress code will definitely be on the dressier side so I can pull out some cute holiday party looks.”

“Alone, this dress is so cute. (I mean, can we take a moment for the cut-outs?) But the blazer adds a cool element that makes it feel a little less formal. The sparkly shoes are really just the perfect touch.”
