Zachary Levi called his public support for Donald Trump “career suicide.”
Many of his peers feel the same, which explains why they stay quiet rather than share their right-leaning views.
Sylvester Stallone may have been one of those silent voices. Until now.
The “Rocky” legend toasted President-Elect Trump last week, days after the real estate mogul won both the popular vote and the Electoral College.
The announcement shocked many for obvious reasons. Stallone isn’t a politically outspoken star. Plus, it’s well known that airing your conservative views can hurt a Hollywood career.
Or, in the case of Oscar-nominee James Woods, essentially kill it.
Now, we’re learning Stallone may be gainfully employed for the foreseeable future. Variety says Paramount+ wants to extend the star’s “Tulsa King” series for two more seasons – three and four.
The deal isn’t signed, but when news like this leaks it’s typically close to being official.
The popular show casts Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York Mafioso forced to relocate to Tulsa, Okla. Rather than reinvent himself, he uses his underworld skills to create new businesses for himself and loyalists alike.
The show co-stars Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, Dana Delany and Neal McDonough.
