As you might imagine, I follow a lot of beauty editors on Instagram. A few years ago, I started seeing editor after editor post about one makeup brand in particular—Saie Beauty. I was immediately intrigued. Once I see a bunch of beauty editors posting about a brand, I know it’s the real deal. I got my hands on the first Saie beauty launches, and from there, it’s history. I was immediately smitten with the brand.
Saie is a high-performing makeup brand that prioritizes sustainable packaging and good for your skin ingredients. It’s clean makeup that really works, which can be hard to come by. I find myself reaching for Saie products on a near daily basis. When I want a dewy skin tint , I reach for their Slip Tint , and their blushes are so pigmented and dreamy that they work for nearly every occasion.
Below, I’ve rounded up the best Saie products to try. You can take my word for it, but I enlisted the help of Saie’s resident makeup artist, Stevie Rose for her favorite hero products and application tips.
Saie’s Slip Tint is a dreamy skin tint that gives you completely natural-looking coverage. Blended with hyaluronic acid and pansy flower, it’s hydrating and just makes your skin look like a more refined, dewy version of itself. “Our Slip Tint is a staple for me personally,” says Rose. “It gives the most skin-like finish, doesn’t feel like you’re wearing makeup yet provides enough dewy, blurring coverage that you don’t crave anything more pigmented. It’s also a time-saver because it’s three products in one! It combines your serum and moisturizer, your moisturizer, and your clean SPF 35 into one step so it’s all you need for the day.”
You’ve likely seen these blushes on TikTok, and for good reason. They give high-impact color with tons of payoff, so a little goes a long way. They’re so easy to blend, and you end up with a natural-looking flush. Rose shares that you can even use this blush on lips as lip stains.
This luminizer is essentially a do-it-all product. It’s packed with glycerin and vitamin C to brighten and soften skin, and it gives you a lit-from-within glow. “My favorite way to use it is as a radiant primer,” says Rose. “My first step to any makeup look is always applying a pump of Glowy Super Gel to each cheek and buffing out all over using our Big Brush. It makes every product you apply on top of it wear smoother and more luminous. You can also mix it into any cream makeup product, like our Slip Tint, or even your skincare to add glow. I also love applying this as a highlighter or on the body to give a fresh, hydrated look.”
If you’ve ever felt unsure about bronzers, this creamy formula is the perfect one to try. It melts into skin effortlessly and looks natural.
This product is aptly named—it is a really great gloss. It doesn’t look sticky or too shiny. It’s also formulated with ingredients like vitamin E to nourish and moisturize lips and apple extract to slough off dead skin cells, so when you wear this gloss, you don’t have to worry about keeping lips hydrated throughout the day—it does that for you.
“I was a proud non-powder person and I am newly converted thanks to our Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder,” says Rose. “The difference is that Airset tones down excess shine but since it’s a radiant powder, it doesn’t steal your glow completely. Plus, for those with dry skin that would typically avoid drying powders, Airset contains moisturizing squalane that melts into the skin throughout the day. Airset elongates the wear of your makeup and gives you a glowy, blurred complexion that you’ll love.”
Saie also makes really good brushes. This one is perfect for buffing in bronzer, or just evening out your whole face.
The great thing about this highlighter is that it isn’t too shimmery, so it looks more natural than most formulas. It also has marshmallow root extract to help calm redness and irritation on your face.
This vegan brush has a tapered head to make application super easy—you can customize how you want to use it. It helps powder apply seamlessly and without caking.
Unlike many mineral-based sunscreens, this one is tinted so that it doesn’t leave the dreaded white cast on skin. It also has hyaluronic acid and aloe vera to smooth and soften.
This mascara adds tons of length to lashes, but doesn’t make them look spidery. “Mascara 101 can give a lengthened, lifted lash look with one coat or a chic, voluminous look with two coats,” says Rose. “The trick is you need to wait 3-4 minutes for the first coat to dry so you can build up the volume. We even have a unique ‘jellyfish tip’ on the end of the wand that is great for hard to reach areas like the outside corners or lower lashes.”
“Brow Butter can create a lot more texture if you start by backcombing the brows from the tail in towards the nose,” Rose shares. “Once you’ve backcombed a few times, you can brush through as you normally would and place each hair where you want it to stay. If you have any sparse areas, use the tip of the micro spoolie like you would a pencil to fill in gaps.”
If you’ve been searching for the perfect lip gloss to keep in your purse, look no further—this is it. Squalane and coconut oil help nourish lips, while the slight tint makes them look amazing.
