Lil Nas X hopped on Twitter to call people out for not complaining about skateboarder Tony Hawk’s new limited edition sneakers — which features some of his own blood in them.
“Now that tony hawk has released skateboards with his blood painted on them, and there was no public outrage, are y’all ready to admit y’all were never actually upset over the blood in the shoes? and maybe u were mad for some other reason?” he tweeted.
Safaree saw the tweet and told him why people were really upset.
“It’s not the blood it was the whole 666 and trying to associate the devil with it,” he responded. “We don’t need to act like we out here worshipping the devil. Let’s leave that to the KKK.”
Lil Nas X’s shoes were actually named “Satan Shoes,” and only 666 of the shoes were made. In his video for “Montero,” he does a lapdance for the devil.
