During the last reunion of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Garcelle Beauvais was accused of not paying a $5,000 charity donation by Kyle Richards on camera.
This week, Garcelle called Kyle Richards out for the shades and schooled her on perpetuating racial stereotypes.
“This is how I feel. I feel like it was weaponized towards me being a black woman. I know you probably didn’t do that intentionally, but I don’t think you recognize the effect that it has on me being a black woman. There’s stereotypes that people think we don’t pay for our rent, that we don’t tip,” she said.

Kyle said she does not think like that, but Garcelle interjected.
“Because you don’t have to deal with that, because it’s not your reality, but it’s my reality,” she said. “If I don’t tip, they’re gonna say, ‘Black people don’t tip anyway; she would have never tipped.’ But the service was horrible. So there’s all this stuff that people don’t realize that we think about before we have to do anything.”
Kyle says she now understands Garcelle’s hurt feelings over the reunion.
