Seattle rapper Lil Mosey was charged with second-degree rape in Washington’s Lewis County.
A warrant was issued for Lil Mosey’s arrest after he failed to appear at a preliminary hearing this week.
According to TMZ, which first reported the warrant, the charge stems from a Jan. 6, 2020, incident at a cabin in Randle, Washington.
Adel “Ace” Sadik, a former manager for the rapper, said he had no idea why the rapper did not show. “That’s all on him and the courts to figure out. I can’t really speak on that on his behalf,” he said via The Seattle Times.
An anonymous woman claimed that Mosey raped her and her friend when she was highly drunk while visiting him at a cabin. Mosley denies the rape. He says it was committed by another man and not him.

But the woman says it was Mosey and that he got on top of her and pushed her legs apart as he had sex with her. She said she suffered bruising during the rape.
If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
