An angry and aggressive South Carolina man was arrested yesterday, after he was caught on video attacking a Black man who was walking in an upscale Columbia, South Carolina neighborhood, MTO News has learned.
The Black man – who has been identified online as Deandre – was walking in the exclusive Lakes at Barony Place gated community in South Carolina – when he was stopped by a crazed man. Social media reports claim that the aggressive White man was an off duty police officer. MTO was not able to independently confirm this fact.
The aggressive alleged off-duty cop stopped DeAndre and asked him, “What are you doing here.” Deandre is African American and lives in the community.

The White man is seen on video pushing, and slapping Deandre. MTO News confirmed that the man was NOT arrested, but cited for property damage – apparently for slapping the phone out of the boy’s hands.
Civil Rights leaders in South Carolina are coming together today – to try and have Civil Rights charges levied against the man.
