NBA Youngboy is under investigation for his alleged connection to a September 2020 music video.
Last year, YoungBoy was filming the video in Baton Rouge — when the cops showed up, leading to the arrests of 16 individuals on drug and weapons charges — including the popular rapper.
YoungBoy is a convicted felon and federal and state laws prohibit him from being in possession of a firearm.
YoungBoy’s lawyer, James Manasseh, filed a motion to have the rapper released from bond supervision. No charges have been filed in more than four months. A judge ordered the return of $40,000 in cash and a $300,000 cashier’s check to the rappers, as they were seized during the arrest.
