The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department seized rocker Marilyn Manson’s hard drives in a home raid on Monday.
In February, the LASD launched an investigation into allegations of domestic violence incidents that occurred between 2009 and 2011. Manson has sued for sexual assault and abuse several times over the past year.
According to TMZ, police seized hard drives and other storage units for electronic data during the raid. The singer was not home at the time of the raid.
In October, a judge refused Manson’s motion to dismiss the charges of sexual assault against him.
Manson’s attorneys submitted the motion to dismiss in July, stating that Game of Throne’s actress Esme Bianco’s allegations of sexual assault were “time-barred by more than seven years” under California’s statute of limitations. Bianco claimed that the star raped her and that he was verbally abusive.
“My hope is that this ruling empowers other survivors to pursue justice for themselves while signaling to abusers that they cannot bully victims into silence,” Bianco said in a press release.
She says that she “suffered due to the deterioration of her mental health caused by Mr. Warner” and that she “deals with complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, and panic attacks to this day as a result.”
