Man Argues With Father-In-Law Over Pigs & Beats Him To Death With A Leaf Blower!!

A Roane County man named Andrew Franklin Bush, 26, allegedly got into an altercation with William Greathouse, his father-in-law, after the two were trying to lift a pig inside of a cage into the bed of a truck.

According to the News and Sentinel, while the men were trying to carry the pig, the cage fell to the ground. They then started to fight and Bush struck him in the head with the leaf blower.

When officers arrived at the scene, Greathouse was found in the bed of the truck. Cops noted that “he was still unconscious, not breathing and beginning to turn blue in the face and hands. The victim also had an obvious indention in his forehead that had a small open laceration.”

Bush says Greathouse cursed at him and threatened him before Bush punched him in the face hard. He confessed that he picked up the leaf blower and he swung it while holding onto the plastic tube, the complaint said.

Bush added that he “was sorry for what he did and that hitting (Greathouse) with the leaf blower was too excessive.”

Bush was charged with second-degree murder and malicious assault and is being held at Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash bond. He is facing 10 to 40 years in prison.
