It’s not an exaggeration to say that, thanks to the now-iconic Gucci GG belt, made famous by Alessandro Michele’s first collection in 2015, designer logo belts have become one of the most ubiquitous luxury accessories of the last decade. Now, most super-brands have their own iteration of the classic accessory and adding any one of them to your outfit rotation has become one of the easiest (and most accessible) ways to instantly elevate any look.
Until recently, I was quite ambivalent about logo belts (they have historically had slight “look at me—I’m designer!” vibes), but I’ve noticed more and more stylish individuals embracing the look in a more low-key way.
