The divorce drama between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is ratcheting up each day. And now MTO News spoke with an associate of Kim’s who tell us that she’s worried about Kim’s safety.
The insider explained that she, along with others close to Kim, are worried that Kanye’s erratic outbursts could turn violent. The insider explained to MTO News, “I don’t think he’s been violent [towards Kim] before, but he’s really acting unpredictably,”
MTO News knows of no confirmed incident, where Kanye has been violent towards a woman.
She continued, “Kim is my friend. Imagine if you had a friend and her ex-husband was posting crazy stuff on IG, leaves all kinds of messages on her phone, and buys a house across the street from her. You’d be worried for her safety too.”

Then the insider added an interesting legal twist to her worries.
The insider told MTO News, “If Kanye did end up hurting her, he might not even go to prison over it. He could plead insanity.”
MTO News did a bit of legal digging, and she’s right – it’s plausible that if Kanye were to hurt Kim – that he could go free.
To plead “insanity” in court States generally apply one of three rules, or at least a variation of one of three rules, to define “insanity.”
Under the M’Naghten rule, a criminal defendant is not guilty by reason of insanity if, at the time of the alleged criminal act, the defendant was so deranged that he did not know the nature or quality of his actions or, if she knew the nature and quality of her actions, she was so deranged that she did not know that what she was doing was wrong.
