Kate Middleton Just Wore Head-to-Toe Glittering Sequins on the Red Carpet

Last week, we were treated to a rare red carpet appearance by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and now we’re spoiled with a glam showing courtesy of Kate Middleton and Prince William. The couple arrived at the Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall in London and they dressed to the nines for the occasion.

The Duchess of Cambridge re-wore her green Jenny Packham gown that we first saw on her tour of Pakistan in 2019, while the duke complemented her emerald dress with a jewel-tone velvet blazer. Middleton’s intricate dress is made with hundreds of sequins and definitely turned heads on the red carpet. Sequins, of course, are a trend that comes back with a vengeance every holiday party season, so I rounded up some of my favorite ways to wear them below.

On Kate Middleton: Jenny Packahm dress

Long sleeves? Check. High neck? Check. Sequins galore? Check.

Go ahead and buy it—green sequins are royalty-approved, after all.

I love that this dress is both relaxed and dressy at the same time.

H&M always has affordable interpretations of the season’s best trends

I love how this cute dress is styled with semi-sheer tights

Rainbow sorbet, anyone?

This is definitely made for the dance floor.

I’m in love with this pretty lavender color.

This would also look cute layered over a slim-fitting turtleneck.

Zara has done it again.

This is a great dress to show off some fantastic jewelry.

Next, Meghan Markle wore a plunging gown with a thigh-high slit on the red carpet
